When choosing a pest control company in Cardiff, look for membership of the British Pest Control Association (BPCA). BPCA members must meet rigorous standards for training, insurance and use of pesticides, and they are audited regularly. You can verify membership on the BPCA website by company name or postcode. Prices should include the initial survey, treatment and a specified number of follow-up visits — most pest problems require 2-3 visits to fully resolve. Ask how many follow-up visits are included and what happens if the problem persists beyond those visits. Read Google reviews focusing on whether the treatment actually worked long-term, not just the initial response. A good pest controller will also advise on proofing measures to prevent reinfestation, such as sealing entry points and removing food sources.
